THE THREAT:
Destruction of the "Reconciliation" Memorial
  • Despite being listed as a contributing object integral to the Arlington National Cemetery Historic District, this beautiful cemetery memorial is the latest victim of cancel culture.  The “Naming Commission”, established by Act of Congress in 2019, has recommended removal of the Memorial

  • It is unclear when the Memorial will be removed or how the multi-million dollar removal cost will be paid, but insiders report the removal is imminent.

Unique in American History           Unique in World History
I'm adding my name to this letter to the Arlington National Cemetery Commission and to Congress to defend the Reconciliation Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery....

About the Memorial:
One Country Again
  •  Brainchild of US President William McKinley  (25th) who served as a sergeant in the US Army during the Civil War

  • Designed to be the centerpiece of the  “Confederate Section” which contains over 400 graves.  US President Teddy Roosevelt  (26th) sent a floral arrangement at the first memorial ceremony in 1903 beginning a tradition that  was continued by every US President including President Obama

  • Established as a ‘goodwill' re-unification monument after the Spanish American War

  • Designed and sculpted by internationally renown Jewish artist, Sir Moses Ezekiel, who is interred at the base of the Memorial, himself a veteran

...nothing of this sort could have occurred       in anything but a democracy...

THIS VERY REAL THREAT OF REMOVAL COULD BE THE
